Sorry, I don't have this kind of hardware. According to the source code 
there is IR support for some budget cards in the dvb-kernel driver 
(file budget-ci.c): IR events are passed through the standard 
/dev/input/event interface. 
 
This means that LIRC is not supported for these cards, but the remote 
control plugin should work. Would be nice if someone could confirm 
this.
