It still has, if you installed the win32codec-pack.
You don't have the source for real-codec, but at least you can watch real-streams...

Have a look at http://www2.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/

And NO, you don't have to use these codecs in windows. They are for Linux only!
