The netgear one has an intersil chip.

supported intersil cards:

I think most 802.11g cards on the market are intersil or atherosbased, so support should be getting lots better (the intersil drivers is just about one month old, so this is kind of new). I just verified that the driver worked and then moved it back into my laptop which runs windows.
