[vdr] Experiences with patched VDR 1.2.x (was Re: [PATCH] Old descriptorhandling with vdr 1.2.5)

Hi

I wonder if anyone of those, who have tried my patch, have any good or maybe
even bad news. So first, here are my experiences with my patched VDR 1.2.5
and DVB from 24.09.:

- no UPT-Errors
- sometimes "video data stream broken", when recording starts on secondary
card --> this provoke a restart
- sometimes a black picture in live view (as I remember, even on the first
card)

Meanwhile I've disabled EPG-scan and now I've the following results:

- no UPT-Errors
- no "video data stream broken" error anymore
- no restarts

So until now I've to say, that this is a valid workaround for those of us,
who get the UPT-Error in vanilla vdr. But let us test this patch for at least
1-2 weeks, to see if a long running test also give us that result.

@Klaus: You said in another thread, that the "video data stream broken"
error is a driver fault. But why do this behaviour only occur with enabled
EPG-scan and why only on the secondary card? And btw.: Get well soon... :-)

Martin
