try to use cvs driver without any patch

use insmod adv717x.o pixeldata_adjust_pal=1
in ldm in the modules dir of the em83000 dir
(the colorbar switch is ok for testing, to see if its green, black/white
or color)
after ldm you have to use em8300setup to init the card, after that you
can use the dxr3 plugin

with that i got a color picture instead of a grayscale

i´ve tested it with vdr 1.2.5, the 0.2.1 dxr3 and the streamdev plugin
