Well, it's not as simple as one could guess:

ftp to ftp.cadsoft.de:/pub/people/kls/vdr/Developer and fetch last vdr
version, unpack it to your hd, then create a cvs share of it...

Then you could access it ;-)

If you search the ml you will find another one, but it's very
outdated...
