[vdr] Re: [OT] DVD writer recommendation needed

Not sure if this works with Linux, but I see no reason why it shouldn't, but
my DVD player on the Windoze box gave up 2 weeks ago and I replaced it with
an LG DVD+-R/RW/RAM 8x Int IDE device which is blindingly fast. Got mine
from www.dabs.com.

Gonna get another for the new Linux box, its just soooo good.

Subject: [vdr] [OT] DVD writer recommendation needed

Hi vdr folks,

sorry, if this is a little bit OT ...

Now with many recordings on my hard disk, it's time to create some
DVD's. So I need to buy a DVD writer, but I don't know which device
is recommended for using with Linux and ide-scsi emulation.

What I want are some hints for good devices and also for devices better
not to buy.

Thanks for help,
Bernd
