[vdr] Re: Channel not available

I have now tried all your suggestions and nothing helps. I can't get that Technotrend DVB-t budget card to work in Linvdr. I loaned identical card from my friend and it did not work either so the card is not broken.

Could it be a motherboard problem?

Has anyone succeeded with Linvdr+TT budget +dxr3card? Detailed instructions would be highly appreciated.

Thank you all for your effort, but I still have not succeeded. When I unload and load the drivers everything seem fine, but it tells me the same no DVB device found

I'm no expert in DVB-Drivers - but to me this looks like you don't have the right module for your card. Is it a DVB-T? Then you must add the "tda1004x" to your /etc/modules and something like
---------------------------
post-install dvb-ttpci modprobe tda1004x
post-remove dvb-ttpci modprobe -r tda1004x
---------------------------
to your /etc/modules.conf -or the file generating it.

If you've got another card with another tuner it might be a different module. Which card is it exactly? Is the firmware in the right place? (the firmware of a dvb-t card - copied from the Win-Drivers and renamed - needs to be at /usr/lib/dvb/tda1004x.mc (newer drivers) or /etc/dvb/tda1004x.mc (older drivers) ).

Maybe you can use this information, it's all I can offer ;-)

Hannes
