[vdr] STREAMDEV plugin problem
Hi,
yet another problem with VDR...
My configuration is as follows:
1) VDR(1.2.6) + STREAMDEV(0.2.0) running on a Slackware machine. A DVB-S card
is mounted on it. This machine acts as the VDR-to-VDR STREAMDEV server. When
I start VDR: vdr - P streamdev - d all works. Also I run KVDR setting the VDR
running on this machine to work as STREAMDEV server.
2) VDR(1.2.6) + STREAMDEV(0.2.0) running on a Gentoo machine. This machine
acts a VDR-to-VDR client machine. This machine is equipped with a DVB-S card.
On the two machines I have the same channels.conf file stored in the proper
location. When I try to view(by KVDR)a remote channel by connecting, as
client, to the server machine i cannot see anything...
By reading both the log messages(on the client and on the server)I can see
that the connection is estabilished on the proper port.
I have to say that, if I run the server machine in the HTTP configuration I
can see(running mplayer on the client machine)the channels on the server
side.
I guess: since I have a DVB-S card on the client machine and NOT a DXR3 card,
is it possible that, when I request a remote channel, the client machine try
to get the channel locally by requesting it to the local DVB-S card???? It's
an idea...
I have to mount a DXR3 card or I can use the DVB-S card working as a DXR3
card? How can I reach for such feature??
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance
Samuele
