[vdr] another question from a beginner

I wish to record a film that is on BBC at 23:55 GMT. I have found out
how to set my timers for local time rather than UK time etc.

What I want to know is which processus do I need to leave running for
the recording to happen - just ./runvdr -Pxine? or does xine need to be
running too?
