Thomas,

LinVDR is a very German project that's cool but the doc is a wee bit
difficult for me (reminds me of setting up isdn back in the 90's...)

How do I run VDR so that vdradmin will connect to it?

At the moment I am running ./runvdr -Pxine and watching in xine on my
samsung tft.

when I launch vdradmind.pl it runs just fine. I can connect via port
8001 in Mozilla just fine but it refuses to connect to VDR on port 2001.
I am guessing that the reason is that no process is running on port
2001...
