Hi,

the 0.0.8 version of the imageplugin can work without the ImagMagick tools, it only needs mjpegtools (v 1.6.1) and netpbm tools (pngtools) v 10.x .

mjpegtools can be build w/o X, i have mine from some generic rpm.

If you still have trouble with 0.0.8 please report them, there will be a 0.0.9pre soon.
