[vdr] fbxine vdr-xine matrox problem

I want to use vdr-xine with a Matrox G550, I have no X, so I want to use 
fbxine.
I  start with "fbxine -V fb0 -A alsa 
vdr://video/vdr-xine/stream#demux:mpeg_pes",
but all I get is "Failed to set /dev/tty to text mode: Invalid argument".

Has someone any idea what might be wrong?
