[vdr] mplayer-plugin (and dv-plugin)

having some trouble getting those plugins to work - it seems like mplayer does 
not output something useful - at least the screens stays black whenever 
mplayer is invoked.

if i start 
mplayer -vo mpegpes
at the commandline there are no errors and it does something but i get no data 
at stdout (or where should they be?)

(currently using MPlayer 1.0pre3-3.2.3)
