try not to mix bleeding edge technology with steam engines.

It seems, that you are not using dxr3-plugin in the actual version dxr3-0.2.3-pre2 
and I would suggest also to upgrade to ffmpeg 0.4.8 and, while you are working 
on it, get also a fresh em8300 driver from CVS.

The version of dxr3-plugin you are using does not work with vdr > 1.3.6
