Well, I noticed that the MPlayer seek command (which is used for
resume but jump as well) doesn't allways works reliable (probably
depending on file type).

You can make a test: replay the movie, start jump mode with
red-key, toggle to % mode with blue-key, enter percentage, ok.
Try several different positions. Does this works reliable?
