[vdr] Menus and EPG 'stripy' with dvr-1.3.12 and dxr3...

Can't remember seeing this mentioned on here before.

With vdr-1.3.12 and a dxr3 for output, my menus have a 'stripy'
appearance with the sttng skin (and I think the classic ones does this
too). I presume that the background is meant to be light blue with
yellow text. What I get is stripes of light blue with yellow text with
unfilled clear gaps between the blue background for each row of text.
This makes it very difficult to read it! As I move the cursor up and
down, sometimes the whole background does fill itself, and text is more
readable, and tehn it goes back stripy again when I move to the next
line.

I see the same behaviour with menus, epg, and timer listings. The output
from commands and the console plugins both give a completely filled
background so I assume that they use a different method for filling the
OSD (I'm not too familiar with the OSD code to check properly!).

I'm thinking that this is down to the dxr3 implementation of the OSD
code. Christian: just read that you're totally rewriting the OSD code in
the dxr3 plugin: do you see this problem, and is it being addressed?

Cheers,

Laz
