Okay, then I will put all my energy at the mediamvp-plugin ;-)

Hmmm ... I don't really know if I understood what you mean - but doesn't
all tv-channels need a video-pid?

Well, my VDR-box is also quite slow, it takes between 2-5 seconds before I
get picture at the TV connected to the computer, so I thought that maybe
the plugin "gave up"? Is there some kind ot timeout or something waiting
for a picture in the plugin?
