Even if you do the work, _I_ will need to go over it again and
insert it into a possible already modified source.

If it's just small things like the ones you have posted at the
beginning of this thread (and they don't interfere with my coding style ;-)
you can always send them. I just wouldn't want to receive a patch that changes
things all over the place...
