Hi, I used the rotor plugin as a base for my actuator plugin, but I saw 
that rotor opens the frontend read-only and then uses ioctls that try to 
write to it (and it wouldn't be possible to open it read/write since it 
can only opened read/write once, and that's been done by vdr itself).
Maybe when the plugin was written the driver didn't enforce the rule 
"many readers, only one writer".
