It is possible, and it is done. If you have correct teletext PIDs (found 
automatically by 1.3 series), and no teletext plugin loaded, teletext will be 
reinserted on the TV out.
However, you can only have either the osd-teletext plugin or teletext 
reinsertion, both at the same time is not supported by the firmware.
