[vdr] How to report errors

There have been lots of error reports lately that were posted
as replies to my announcements of new VDR versions. The result of this
is that my inbox now contains several huge threads, all under the
same topic "[vdr] Re: VDR developer version 1.3.15" (same for earlier
VDR versions) - this makes it very hard to follow up on specific problems,
because browsing through the subjects doesn't give any useful
information. As a consequence, error reports "hidden" in this monster
thread may tend to be overlooked.

I would appreciate very much (and I mean VEEEERY much!) if each error
report could be posted as a _new_ thread, with a subject that actually
indicates what this is about - something like

  VDR 1.3.15 doesn't change channel names from old config files anymore

(thanks Sascha, you did it the right way :-).

If others can contribute to the solution of this particular problem,
replies should be sent _in_ this thread (_without_ starting a new one ;-).

TIA for keeping this in mind, it would make life a good deal easier
(at least for me).
