Hello Jörg,

I use gentoo but don't have media-video/vdrplugin-dvd-cvs-0.0.1 ebuild to test
it. Where did you get it from? as it's not in the latest portage tree. Anyway,
from my understanding the available vdr ebuilds are the stable ones (latest is
vdr-1.2.6-r1.ebuild) not the dev ones. 

Fyi, I do use ebuilds/portage for 99% of the packages I use, however the
remaining 1% are vdr, xine and the plugins, which I do in a separate
user/directory :).
