Ring buffer overflows with streamdev and remux script

Hello, I'm experiencing ring buffer overflows with streamdev-server and the following remux script: tmpdir=${TMPDIR-/tmp}/externremux-${RANDOM:-$$} FIFO=$tmpdir/out.mkv OUTLOG=$tmpdir/out.log mkdir -p $tmpdir || exit 1 mkfifo $FIFO (cat $FIFO; rm -rf $tmpdir) & ffmpeg -threads 2 -i - -deinterlace -vcodec libx264 -vpre veryfast -b 900k -bt 50k -maxrate 900k -s vga -acodec libfaac -async 1 -ac 2 -ar 44100 -aq 128 -sn -y $FIFO 2>/tmp/ffmpeg.log My outgoing line is a VDSL2 line with a 2048kbps upload. 2011-07-09T21:05:46+02:00 localhost vdr: [553] buffer usage: 70% (tid=552) 2011-07-09T21:05:47+02:00 localhost vdr: [553] buffer usage: 80% (tid=552) 2011-07-09T21:05:47+02:00 localhost vdr: [553] buffer usage: 30% (tid=552) 2011-07-09T21:05:49+02:00 localhost vdr: [25625] ERROR: 76 ring buffer overflows (14288 bytes dropped) When this happens, the picture freezes and it never recovers. [Patch] MAXCAIDS size increase

Hi, On the channel MTV Live HD (S19.2) we reach the limitation of MAXCAIDS. This channel currently provides 9 conditional access ids. (MAXCAIDS is define to 8). To ensure that all users can access(decrypt) this channel, it's necessary to increase this size. it's the aim of the patch in attach file. MAXCAIDS increase to 12. channel details: MTV Live HD;MTV Networks Europe:11778:VC34M2O0S0:S19.2E:27500:2000=27:2001=@4;2002=eng@106 :0:D00,100,500,1810,1811,1863,1817,1818:28600:1:1068:0 Thanks.

strcmp() segfaults if one (and only one) of the parameters is NULL ?

Hi, strcmp() returns 0 if both are parameters NULL, but segfaults if one of the parameters is NULL. Is this a known behaviour ? man page says nothing about NULL parameters. I ask because, vdr checks for NULL parameter(s) to strcmp() sometimes. OT: s2api backwards compatible?

Is s2api backwards compatible ie can you use it on older, non DVB-S2, cards?
