Hi group.

I've just built a new macine running 2.6.11.7 with FC3 and installed my
Wintv Hauppauge card.

I'm getting :
Linux video capture interface: v1.00
cx2388x v4l2 driver version 0.0.4 loaded
ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:0a.0[A] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11
cx88[0]: subsystem: 0070:9002, board: Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T
[card=18,autodetected]
cx88[0]/0: found at 0000:00:0a.0, rev: 5, irq: 11, latency: 32, mmio:
0xea000000
cx88[0]/0: registered device video0 [v4l2]
cx88[0]/0: registered device vbi0

under dmesg

and
Apr 23 18:33:36 media kernel: Linux video capture interface: v1.00
Apr 23 18:33:37 media kernel: cx2388x v4l2 driver version 0.0.4 loaded

under /var/log/messages

I cannot access the /dev/devb/adapter0/dvr0 device though
ERROR: failed opening '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' (No such device or
address)

Can anyone confirm the block device number they're using on this kernel?
I'm using 212 :
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 1 Apr 23 18:38 audio0
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 6 Apr 23 18:38 ca0
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 4 Apr 23 18:38 demux0
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 5 Apr 23 18:38 dvr0
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 3 Apr 23 18:38 frontend0
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 7 Apr 23 18:38 net0
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 8 Apr 23 18:38 osd0
crw-rw----  1 root video 212, 0 Apr 23 18:38 video0

but it's not working.

any ideas?

Thanks

Simon
