From my own experiments, the signal seems to be faked as ffff for the duration
of the dvb_override_tune_delay parameter

Both my USB DVB-C budget + the real STB work perfectly - the USB box gets a
lock in about one second (and it uses identical Philips 1516 tuner + VES1820
FE! )
