Thanks for that. I've now got it loading the main driver, but now I've 
actually got the problem I thought I had before :-)

dvb-bt8xx: A frontend driver was not found for device 109e/0878 subsystem 
0071/0101

It's loaded the following modules:
dvb_bt8xx
dvb_core
nxt6000
mt352
dst
bt878
bttv
video_buf
i2c_algo_bit
v4l2_common
btcx_risc
sp887x
firmware_class
i2c_core

That includes 3 frontend modules (nxt6000, mt352 & sp887x), which it clearly 
isn't happy with for some reason - frontend0 is not created.
I tried with 2.6.12.3 also, but got the same result.

All help greatly appreciated!
