I've updated from cvs and downloaded this file, thanks. I've also found that I 
didn't have the kernel flag for DVB USB debugging set. With that corrected I 
now get the following messages:

usbcore: registered new driver Nebula Electronics uDigiTV DVB-T USB2.0 device
usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4
check for cold 547 201
dvb-usb: found a 'Nebula Electronics uDigiTV DVB-T USB2.0)' in cold state, 
will try to load a firmware
dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-digitv-01.fw' to the 'Cypress 
FX2'
dvb-usb: Nebula Electronics uDigiTV DVB-T USB2.0) successfully initialized and 
connected.
usb 1-5: USB disconnect, address 4
dvb-usb: generic DVB-USB module successfully deinitialized and disconnected.
usb 1-5: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5
check for cold 547 201
dvb-usb: found a 'Nebula Electronics uDigiTV DVB-T USB2.0)' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the demuxer.

The last line repeats and doesn't change until I press a button on the remote 
control. Then the last four pairs of digits change e.g.
