[linux-dvb] TT and YUV

Hi,
after searching for YUV on a TechnoTrend, all I found was "shell out  
some money for a RGB->YUV" converter.
Is it a hardware limitation or simply a firmware limitation? For  
example my Humax 5400 got YUV support w/ a new (hacked) firmware.
