i have the following files in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware.
according to /etc/hotplug/firmware.agent that location seems to be okay.

i extracted the tda10046-firmware by using get_dvb_firmware (perl 
get_dvd_firmware tda10046)

any ideas?
