we had this discussion a few weeks ago, so please be kind and search  in 
the mailinglists archive.

The thread was about DVB-T PCI-X card question but there was explained 
how to use a PCI card in PCI-X slot.

DO NOT MIX UP PCI-X WITH PCIE (PCI Express)!
