Hello,
first, sorry for my english, i'm french...
I've got working the Technisat Skystar 2 PCI very well but not the
TwinhanDVT Alpha USB

I've compiled my own kernel 2.6.13.4 from kernel.org with dvb_usb_vp7045
module and put the firmware dvb-usb-vp7045-01.fw in the folder
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/

when i plug the dungle i get :
[17179616.320000] dvb-usb: found a 'Twinhan USB2.0 DVB-T receiver
(TwinhanDTV Alpha/MagicBox II)' in cold state, will try to load a firmware
[17179616.348000] dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file
'dvb-usb-vp7045-01.fw' to the 'Cypress FX2'
[17179616.412000] dvb-usb: Twinhan USB2.0 DVB-T receiver (TwinhanDTV
Alpha/MagicBox II) successfully initialized and connected.
[17179618.432000] dvb-usb: found a 'Twinhan USB2.0 DVB-T receiver
(TwinhanDTV Alpha/MagicBox II)' in warm state.
[17179618.432000] dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream
to the
software demuxer.
[17179618.588000] DVB: registering new adapter (Twinhan USB2.0 DVB-T
receiver (TwinhanDTV Alpha/MagicBox II)).
[17179618.660000] dvb-usb: MAC address: 08:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
[17179618.672000] DVB: registering frontend 0 (Twinhan VP7045/46 USB
DVB-T)...
[17179618.680000] dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 400 msecs.
[17179618.836000] dvb-usb: Twinhan USB2.0 DVB-T receiver (TwinhanDTV
Alpha/MagicBox II) successfully initialized and connected.

so it seems to be ok

but when i scan the channels with "scan Scanlist.txt" (Scanlist.txt
gotten with dvbt-scanaid-0.03 from htp://johannes-bauer.com/dvbt/), i got :
djj at tortuegeniale:~/dvb/dvbt-scanaid-0.03$ scan Scanlist.txt > channels.conf
scanning Scanlist.txt
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
