Indeed, it is my understanding that the HD5000 uses that very NIM ... 
which, I guess would only mean that it contains:
- the TUA6034 tuner and
- the LG DT3303 and  Philips tda9887 demodulators ... although I'm not 
certain that it was ever 100% confirmed that the analog demod is indeed 
the tda9887
