Hi Mauro,

The vp7045 firmware is at:

http://linuxtv.org/downloads/firmware/dvb-usb-vp7045-01.fw

Also note that the firmware file locations is somewhat linux-distro 
dependant.. mine lives in /lib/firmware/  on Fedora Core 4.

If you "dmesg | grep dvb" you'll see the relevant messages about your 
tuner card.
