i did this in a dirtier way, without patching on the sources. 

VLC plays the video only, when i give the dvb-interface an ip-address, set a 
host-route to the multicast-destination on the dvb-if and set the interface 
to the promiscuos mode by sniffing with tcpdump. 

BTW, could you capture some time of the whole TS and send it to me ? Capturing 
could be done with "test_dvr filename.ts 0x2000" out of the dvb-apps. If you 
zip the file afterwards, it will be much smaller.
