All the relevant modules (in case some are missing) from lsmod and dmesg
reports would help. I haven't used YaST (SuSE 10.0) as I read somewhere
(perhaps wrong) that it doesn't handle DVB cards. On standard SuSE 10.0
I plugged the card in and it was recognised in dmesg at boot up.
Kaffeine saw the card, but could not play from it, so I had to install
xine-lib-1.1.1 built from sources as SuSE 10.0 does not handle anything
that's patent incumbent like mpeg formats.
If it's not SuSE 10.0, then the info requested should give some clues.
Any error messages from running "depmod -ae"?
Regards
Sid.
