sorry. it seems that debian has no udevmonitor, i thought it is standard.
maybe there is a other tool.
take a look at usr/share/doc/udev/

if there is nothing usefully, maybe a tail -f /var/log/*
do the job.


    2cd i checked firmware:
debian (testing) puts all firmware in
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/
