Pascal-

The Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus DVB-S is supported out-of-the-box by the
cx88-dvb driver in recent kernels.

You should not need to do anything special in order to use this card
-- the driver should be able to autodetect the hardware by itself,
unless you have a newer version of this card.
