Yes,
soft disconnect caused by something in the USB communication chain, exactly
what I don´t know.
Try a later or latest version of the dvb drivers or even start with a newer
kernel and then newer dvb.
Also check cables and other sources of interference.

Search the archive for nova-t 500 and there will be al lot of threads about
soft disconnects.
