Hallo everybody,
the article number is not correct.
You speak of the hybrid dvb-t/analog stick as far as I could find out (I couldn't follow the link).
It's Conrad's Article-No.: 994903 - 62. You can go to url http://www.conrad.de and search for that Article-No. in the upper left corner.
On page 2 of the data sheet you'll find this info:
Freecom rev 4 DVB-T USB 2.0 tuner
Freecom DVB-T USB Stick
Art. No. 25451
EAN Code EU 4021801254511
Color Black
I think it's on of the cards described on http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-T_USB_Devices as unsupported devices
Here's an abstract of the text there.
"...
The latest Freecom/Yacumo usb stick has a Realtek 2831U chipset and any of the following usb id's: 14aa:0160, 0bda:2831, 2304:022b, 185b:0100, 13d3:3216, 13d3:3220, 13d3:3236, 13d3:3244, 08dd:2103. Latest Windows drivers dates january 2007 and can be downloaded at freecom.com If anyone has any info on how to get these to work or if a specific firmware works, please add it here.
Chipset info at http://www.realtek.com.tw/products/productsView.aspx?Langid=1&PFid=35&Level=4&Conn=3&ProdID=147
..."
So I think the driver you described won't work ?! Would it?
I can send the output of (sudo) lsusb -v later in the evening, when I'm back home (o:
cheers

I own the same model. I had a Freecom dvb-t stick rev.3 (USB ID (before firmware): 14aa:0225) till yesterday. Now it's defective and yesterday I went to Conrad Electronics Megastore in Graz/Austria and they made a rma and gave me a new one - rev.4 . As you write there is no driver yet available and I can't watch tv :o( . I want to know, if there is a schedule for developing a driver. Can I help? I'm UNIX/LINUX Sysadmin, wrote some c++ programs (must say it was in the windows world, but that doesn't matter (o:) and am really interested in hardware. Maybe I can help with testing or possibly some minor development.
