Hi I have a Hauppage nova-td USB stick and I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy,
Kernel 2.6.22-14. I cannot seem to discover any channels when scanning.
When I use the nove-td USB stick on a Windows PC (same cable and
connection to roof antenna), I can pick up and watch about 65 channels!
I downloaded and compiled and installed the latest drivers as per the
instructions on the wiki. It seems as though the stick is detected ok:

I set the built-in amplifier on:
sgreszcz at 247:~$ sudo cat /sys/module/dvb_usb_dib0700/parameters/force_lna_activation
1
When I scan however, I get nothing:
sgreszcz at 247:~$ sudo scan -5
/usr/share/doc/dvb-utils/examples/scan/dvb-t/uk-CrystalPalace > /home/sgreszcz/.tzap/channels.conf

I've also tried dvbsnoop:
