Greetings
On Ubuntu Edgy; Kernel  2.6.17-10-generic
Card:    Avermedia 777

It is loaded OK but cannot get any chanels with "scan" program . Under
windows i get a multitude of chanels.
>>> tune to:
226500000:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_7_MHZ:FEC_2_3:FEC_AUTO:QAM_64:TRANSMISSION_MODE_8K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_8:HIERARCHY_NONE
(tuning failed)
WARNING: >>> tuning failed!!!
ERROR: initial tuning failed
dumping lists (0 services)

or at least that is the end of the output
I am using au_unknowm for input, surely I could improve on this. I
have found the following info on my areas coverage, can I somehow make a
file that scan can use
http://www.dba.org.au/index.asp?remember=0&query=true&sectionID=22&recLocation=Grafton%2FKempsey%2FCoffs+Harbour
Any pointers pleaseI
Michael
