from MicronasNIT, part of MICRONAS family.<BR><BR>MicronasNIT is a R&D
institute inside science and technology park university of Novi Sad.
Institute is oriented towards applied science in area of consumer
electronics.<BR><BR>One of our recent development projects is toward design a
software for DVB Set-Top Boxes. Therefore, we are very interested in Linux DVB
API v4. Especially, because we are working on extension of current DVB API to
completely support features of our set-top box.<BR></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=+0><FONT face=Arial size=2>Current version of Linux DVB API v4
does not nicely support systems having multiple frontends, CAM modules and audio
decoders on it. Routing control (selection) of frontend as input to
selected CAM module is missing. This can be very interesting on systems with
multiple FE (frontends) with PiP (picture in picture) support. Another
interesting feature (not fully covered by existing API) is a mixing of
several audio streams to same audio output. It may be necessary, that two audio
streams are decoded and must be mixed to a single audio output. This is a
practical case for </FONT></FONT></DIV>

disabled persons)</FONT></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=+0><FONT face=Arial size=2>– ATSC associated audio (US feature

<DIV><FONT size=+0><FONT face=Arial size=2>– Audio events (user guide

your work and , as it is mentioned above, try to define API
enhancements for Linux DVB API.</FONT></DIV>
