[vdr] Vdr-1.3.x, AMD64 in 64-bit mode, and working EPG?

I'm still running an old 1.2.x version of VDR, and my EPG is still not 
working (empty). There was another guy with a similar problem, but I 
didn't notice any replies to his question either. So..

Are there people who are running the 1.3 successfully in 64-bit mode and 
kernel 2.6.x? Maybe I should change now? Is the latest 1.3 stable?
