Ok, if your requested for login, a primar socket connect work, 
so it'nt same problem like suse 9.3

try first without "User authentication", edit used ~/.xxvd.conf

secondary check or send me* a strace dump, like
"strace -o xxvdtrace.log -ff ./xxvd --configfile ..."


* this generated a very big logfile(s) send this (compressed) direct to
me, and not here in this list.
