I don't think any of the HDTV channels is going to be in MPEG2. As
it seems, everyone agrees on MPEG4 / H.264 over DVB-S2. Time to get
new hardware :-( For now, reception with softdevice looks very green
and jumpy. But you can try the following channels.conf entries: 

Astra HDTV promo:12168:vC56:S19.2E:27500:133+80:134=eng:0:0:21101:0:0:0
Euro1080 HD-1;Euro1080:12168:vC34:S19.2E:27500:308:256=eng:0:622,624:21100:1:1088:0

With the correct codecs, no. Decoding 1080i in software requires a LOT
of horsepower, though. I'm hoping that a VIA Unichrome Pro can do most
of it in hardware - HDCP issues set aside for a moment. I don't expect
any of these channels going to be FTA for very long.
