Really good is not perfect, though :)
It'll give you full motion with interlaced material but you'll lose quality
(if there is any to begin with) on rescaling (fields only have max
resolution of 720x288 in pal, has to be scaled back to 1.33 or 1.77
aspect). And you'll get only half vertical resolution with progressive
material with no change in motion, other than the jumping up and down (or
bobbing as the deinterlacer is called). But it's most definitely the all
around easiest setting there is, with acceptable quality results for all
kinds of video.
For "perfect" quality from an interlaced video you still need an interlaced
display device such as a television, for example.
