Ok, here's another visable hole in my knowledge.
Makefile:
[snip]
CXX      ?= g++
OPTFLAGS
?= -O4 -march=i486 -mcpu=i686 -pipe -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer -D_REENTRANT
 -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
CXXFLAGS ?= $(OPTFLAGS) -Wall -Woverloaded-virtual
[snip]

How do I do this? Do I need to select specific CXXFLAGS in Makefile for
cpu_accel.c?

Should I globally change OPTFLAGS to us -Os rather than -O4 ??
