[vdr] vdr-xine and spdif out

I'm using xine-network for VDR.  I have spdif - out working.   It sounds
amazing except that the audio and video are ever so slightly out of
sync.  I'm using Xv, alsa and pass-through but are there any tweaks I
can use to bring the two into sync?  

Straight analog audio is in sync with the video.

The sound card is a Diamond Xtreme 7.1 card.
