[vdr] [ANNOUNCE] Hard link cutter patch 0.2.1

Hi list,


A first experimental version of the hard link cutter patch is available 
for VDR-1.7.4.

The new version handles 1TB file sizes for TS recordings, properly 
calculates the switch-to-large-files for 65535 files, and also handles 
PES recordings properly with the old limits.

For TS recordings however, the need for the file size switch is probably 
obsolete since the limit of 255 files is gone, so this feature might be 
dropped on later versions.

The hard link cutter patch changes the recording editing algorithms of 
VDR to use file system hard links to 'copy' recording files whenever 
possible to speed up editing recordings noticeably.
